Fixed Bank

Fixed seat rowing is a discipline characterized by the stability of the boat, allowing rowers to concentrate on technique and timing. This modality is practiced in different types of competitions and is popular both at recreational and professional levels. Rowers use a fixed oar system, which gives them a unique and challenging experience on the water. It is an excellent way to strengthen teamwork and improve physical endurance. Falucho/Llaüt Valencià

The falucho or llaüt valencià is the native boat of the Valencian community. This type of boat was used by fishermen to bring their fish to the market. It is characterized by being a very stable boat, which allows sailing outside the port. Currently, these boats are used both for fitness and for competition, their weight is around 370 kilos, they are made of fiberglass and have capacity for 8 athletes plus helmsman. The characteristics of this boat are suitable for middle distance races (5000 meters) and for long distance races (9000-14000 meters).

Llaüt Mediterráneo

The Mediterranean llaüt was created out of the need to have the same boat for all the Mediterranean clubs. This boat is only used for competition groups, built in carbon fibre and weighing 145 kilos, designed for 700-metre track races in the veteran and cadet categories, and 1400 metres in the youth and absolute categories. The boat has a capacity for 8 athletes + helmsman, and has its respective date in the calendar of the Spanish Rowing Federation, to celebrate the national championship.

Drifter

The trainera is a traditional rowing boat, originally from the north of Spain, especially popular on the Basque coast. Designed for competition, its elongated and narrow structure allows for great speed and manoeuvrability in the water. Traineras are the protagonists of professional leagues in the north of Spain, attracting numerous fans. Its crew is made up of 13 athletes + skipper.

Trainerilla

The trainerilla is a rowing boat made up of six rowers and a skipper or helmsman. The rowers each handle an oar, as does the skipper. They are arranged one behind the other; normally (although this can vary) each rower rows on the opposite side to the one in front of him, with the rower or stern rower (the rower closest to the skipper) rowing on the port side. It is a boat approximately nine metres long.

Batel

The batel is a rowing boat made up of four rowers and a skipper. The rowers each handle an oar, as does the skipper. The athletes stand one behind the other, each rower rows on the opposite side to the one in front of him or at least two on each side. It is a small boat of approximately seven metres in length, ideal for basic categories such as alevín, infantil, cadet and juvenile.
